Collins Dale Capital has a dedicated investment arm (CDIA) for startups.

The Investment Arm has two roles:

-Manage CDC Partners direct investments

-Help and assist new businesses such start-ups or early ventures to achieve fund raising goals through a very minority CDC equity participation.

Most of the time Start-ups cannot afford a professional M&A advisor and standard retainer fee. CDIA prepares for a fraction of the standard M&A Advisory retainer fee (depending on the business stage) all the classic investment marketing material (Teasers, Financial Models etc.) to bring the business to a successful funding, sharing in this way the fund raising risks with the start-up. If the fundraising will be successful CDIA will partner in the funded business with a small equity percentage in the aim that the business will growth and will take-off. During all this period the start-up will have access to the professional advice of the Collins Dale consultants, access to updates and reports on the market where the startup is operating, access to paid financial databases such CapitalIQ and Bloomberg, discounted tariffs if the company wants to pursue further fund-raising, register offices and businesses where CDC is already present or sell its business to an investor/buyer.
